Trivia Games

Ten questions, one shot a day.

Trivia games test general knowledge under a little time pressure. Challenge yourself with today's questions, then compare scores with friends if you like.

Why trivia games are fun

Trivia is the oldest group game there is. Somebody always knows the capital of a country nobody else has heard of, and somebody else always knows which year a famous event happened. A daily trivia round turns that friendly rivalry into a habit: a few minutes, the same questions for everyone, and a score you can argue about all day.

Our trivia games each test a different kind of knowledge. Daily Ten is the classic general knowledge quiz, ten multiple-choice questions with a speed bonus. Timeline asks you to put historical events in the right order. Higher or Lower is a quick run of comparisons between places, landmarks, planets and dates. Who Am I gives you clues about a famous figure and rewards you for naming them early, and Flag & Clue pairs a national flag with a geography hint.

How the daily works

Every trivia round is chosen by the date, so everyone sees the same questions on the same day, and a new round unlocks at midnight US Eastern time. You get one scored attempt per game per day. Each answer is checked on our server, and the correct answer is only revealed after you have committed to yours, so nobody can peek ahead.

There is no penalty for a wrong answer in most rounds, so it always pays to guess. Speed matters in Daily Ten, where a quick correct answer earns bonus points, while Who Am I rewards confidence: the fewer clues you need, the more you score. When you finish, your share card shows how you did without giving away any answers.

Playing with your group

Trivia shines in a group. Set up a group for your family, your office or your friends, add the trivia games to your daily lineup and everyone's scores land on the Today board as soon as they finish. The group feed posts results, badges and streak milestones, and the Stats tab shows who has the best average and the longest streak.

Want to get better? Eliminate two options before you guess, read every word of the question because qualifiers matter, and in Timeline anchor the event you are most sure about first. Play every day and you will be surprised how much sticks.

Trivia also makes a great family tradition. Grandparents often crush the history questions, teenagers tend to own pop culture and science, and everybody has a favorite category to brag about. Because the questions are the same for everyone and change every day, nobody can study ahead, and every morning is a fresh chance to top the board and earn a little bit of glory in the group chat.
