Equation Guess hides a complete arithmetic equation behind two clues: one about the operation or shape of the numbers, and one about the result. You type the full equation, including the operator and equals sign, to lock in your answer.

1. Read the first clue describing the shape or operation of the equation.
2. Read the second clue describing the result of the equation.
3. Type the complete equation, such as 9X6=54, into the answer field.
4. Reveal the extra hint if needed — it costs a few points.

Scoring

A correct equation scores 100 points for the day. Revealing the hint before solving subtracts 5 points from your final score.

• Start from the result clue — it usually narrows the possible factors fastest.
• Watch the operation clue closely; it rules out entire categories of equations at once.
• Format your answer exactly as shown, including the operator symbol and equals sign.
• If you are stuck, the hint is worth the small point cost rather than guessing blindly.
